BIOGRAPHY
Born in France, Jean-Philippe started learning music at the age of 10 thanks to his elementary school with which he learns music theory and violin during 2 years, followed by 4 years of music theory and viola lessons at the music Conservatory of Grenoble.
At 16 years old, he leaves the Conservatory, stops playing viola, and starts learning the guitar, more particularly the electric guitar, followed a few years later by singing learning.
Although music occupies an important place in his life since his childhood, it is only much later that Jean-Philippe feels the need to create his own songs. As he lives at that time in the Los Angeles area, over a period of seven years he takes various courses within the “Songwriting School of Los Angeles”, studying topics that include songwriting techniques, song structures, the basics of music production and music business, and presenting the songs he develops during classes having a mixed format workshop / exercises / theoretical teaching.
In 2023 he releases his first single “Des choses simples” (Simple Things.)
